Interior of car #5005, part of CTA’s new 5000-series railcars.

Interior features longitudal seating using the same decades-old seat design as previous rail cars. CTA’s newest buses feature newer and far more comfortable seats.

Interior design is mostly similar to the 3200-series cars, with exception of a new anti-slip floor design featuring phosphorescent strips. Faux wood paneling has finally been nixed.
