The client liked a work by another artist that had a Pegasus and cherubs, but that work was dark, ambiguous and, frankly lacked realism in the horse.
I kept the overall composition, but with very different clouds, a horse based on the anatomy of the horses on the ranch where I’m doing the work, and cherubs that are lighter in mood and reflect the characters of the client’s grandchildren.
