We developed the "Base Camp" concept for a series of presentation centers which were needed to build community support around a 1.2 billion dollar master planned community in the Rocky Mountains. Through a series of highly textured interiors and interactive exhibits, we communicated information on some of the continent's best winter recreation opportunities. We created lounge spaces, cafe bars, and large scale commissioned art pieces that were custom fabricated from local materials – hand hewn douglas fir, structural forged steel and over ten tones of locally quarried stone. We were also asked to participate in the master planning of a 30,000 square foot resort adventure center – mapping multiple user experiences throughout event spaces, lounges, members clubs, retail, food and beverage, and spa.
